☢️Education and training are key factors to the sustainability of the nuclear infrastructure at national and regional levels. So what could sound more assuasive than a project that aims to enhance the capacity and quality of educational institutions for the sustainable, safe, and secure use of nuclear technologies in Europe and Central Asia?
⚡The project “Enhancing the Capabilities of Educational Institutions for the Sustainable use of Nuclear Technologies” does just that! It offers high impact opportunities such as the establishment and strengthening of nuclear education programmes, resource optimization and development of partnerships.
⚛Throughout this week, our associate professor of engineering science, Dr. Alan Tkaczyk, is organizing the "International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Regional Workshop on Teaching Nuclear Technologies at the University Level". The event is being organized together with Research Fellow in Radiation Protection, Siiri Salupere from the Tartu Ülikooli Füüsika Instituut/Institute of Physics University of Tartu and Marily Jaska from the Ministry of Climate.
